I wouldn't give myself any advice, because advice is kinda bullshit. Take a deep breath and don't take any of it too seriously.
But I don't think people take bad advice. They've got intuition too, you know. In fact I'd be surprised if they take any advice at all.
The best advice I can give to any aspiring author is to write every single day. Work at the craft of writing. Take it seriously.
My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
If anyone had any advice for me, like, I would try to take it into consideration because I feel like, if it's good or bad advice, I can still take some bits out of it and try to use that to better yourself.
I don't think I have ever taken any 'offbeat' advice. Actually, I don't know I take any advice very often. I trust my own instincts and seek out information so I can make fully informed decisions. That's what's worked for me.
I hate mirrors; every time I look in one I see things that could be improved. If I could give my younger self any advice it would be: ‘Take a deep breath, the world is not ending – and do something with your hair.’ I had the same haircut from when I was a toddler all the way through high school, it was this weird side-parting. I didn’t like change.
Don't take too much advice. Most people who have a lot of advice to give ~ with a few exceptions ~ generalize whatever they did. Don't over-analyze everything. I myself have been guilty of over-thinking problems. Just build things and find out if they work.
Don't take advice you see on the Internet too seriously!
Don't take anyone's writing advice too seriously.
One of two things when the guy you're dating isn't really ready to commit. He's an a**hole and he's cheating on you; bottom line he's an immoral dude. Or, he's too young. And the advice I give to everybody night in and night out is: Don't ever take seriously, don't ever consider, don't even pay any attention to what a man says or does until he gets to about 30.
The only thing I would advise young actors to do is prepare for the amount of adversity that you're going to come in contact with by choosing to be an actor because before you actually "made it" or get the skills, people are all not going to take you seriously, and many people will try to discourage you from it. Don't take any of their advice. Do it, and do it and do it. Remember the compliments. Forget the insults.
I don't do talk shows or go on Dr. Phil's show. He's a friend of mine, and, no, he doesn't give me any advice. He doesn't give solicited advice.
Advice is always awesome because it never makes any sense when you compare it all together. It always contradicts other advice. I love advice.
I'll give you the same advice I give my children: Never take advice from anybody.
The advice I would give to someone is to not take anyone's advice.
The advice I would give to someone is to not take anyone’s advice.
