Everyone wants to be safe. Well, I got news for you: You can't be safe. Life's not safe. Your work isn't safe. When you leave the house, it isn't safe. The air you breathe isn't going to be safe, not for very long. That's why you have to enjoy the moment.
I obviously want a safe world for everybody if we're getting really deep, but my safe and happy place is always going to be music.
I feel like I want to make everyone happy. I want everyone around me to be happy.
What we really want to do is serve happiness. We want everyone to be happy, never unhappy even for a moment. We want the animals to be happy. The happiness of every living thing is what we want.
I see so many people living in a bubble. They want to be safe, they want their kids to be safe, and they want their friends to be safe. And I get that. That's awesome and really admirable. But life is not about who gets out the cleanest at the end, or who's the most well-preserved and healthiest.
I want more people to hear me and be part of the change that everyone would benefit from: the change we need so that people like me can be safe and happy.
I'm probably more fiscally a Republican. But socially, I'm just accepting of everything. I want everyone to be happy; I want everyone to live a life that they're proud of.
I want London to be the most cycle-friendly city on Earth, and I want more people to be happy and safe on bicycles.
I'm such a pleaser - I want everyone around me to be happy - so it took a while for me to get to a point where I could say 'no, I need to be happy with everything that I put out.' I want it to be right.
I want to be safe in the knowledge that I can tour and play festivals for a long time. The main thing is that I want a good reputation as a live performer. If I have that, I'd be so happy.
Nothing can be left until the last minute, so that everyone knows exactly where they are. Everyone is comfortable and everyone feels safe because we want people to be able to keep coming into this show and taking those risks. There are a lot of risks in this show, not just nudity, but emotional risks. We want the best actors to feel comfortable about coming in and exploring this subject matter with us.
I realize I'm not different. I want what everyone wants. I want what they all want. I want all the things. I just want to be happy.
May everyone be happy and safe, and may their hearts be filled with joy.
Be as happy as you want to be in a world gone mad. Be as safe as you want to be in a world that is afraid of everything. Be as healthy as you want to be in a world that is mostly sick. Don't let the statistics that someone else created affect you.
My art's not safe, I don't want it to be safe, it's not meant to be safe, its controversial, it takes you into deep areas, it's a journey, its starts off in safe areas but it gets into deep waters.
We're just one cog in this giant machine. You show up and look at all the other cogs like, "Wow, everyone is the best at what they do." You're in really good hands. And that frees you up to play and feel safe, and you can take chances, creatively. You can take risks. I want to show up to work and take risks. I don't ever want to play it safe.
