Working with Balanced Body has been amazing. It's become a big part of my routine.
Change your routine regularly because your body gets used it, and it won't benefit you after a while. Mix it up - legs, arms and butt - so you work your total body and stay balanced.
The old-timers taught me about psychology. Whatever body part, for instance, you decided to work on, well, you worked on. If you're working on someone's arm, you don't go to the head with headlocks. You don't go to the lower body. If you start with a body part, you stay with a body part.
I try to be really balanced. I walk a lot, I wear a Fitbit, and that has really been a game changer for me. I get my steps, I eat whatever I want, I go to France and put on my bread-and-butter suit. Then I'll be balanced, like I'm going to eat my salads for a few days. But I just try to be really balanced with my body. And that has been a good pact for me so far.
I wanted to be a part of an ensemble cast. It's such a wonderful, beautiful thing to be in a comedy where you're working and watching amazing actors, working with amazing material, and you're able to jump in and bounce off it.
I personally have to go to the gym for a solid workout in addition to my dancing days, and not because I think I need extra exercise, but because I know my body and it's become an important part of my daily routine.
I eat for a living, so working out is definitely part of my job, the same way that the eating, tasting, and drinking is. I try to keep up a consistent workout routine, but I'm not the kind of person who goes to the gym every day and does the same routine.
Wigs have always been a part of my life and have become a staple accessory in my closet. I can remember being a little girl and hearing all the commotion in my house from my mom, aunts and grandmother when picking out their wigs for the day. It was such a good time for them and part of their everyday beauty routine.
The best part is it's a dream come true. I've always wanted to be a working actor, and the good part of it... it's all good! I work long hours, but it's amazing. They pay me. That's amazing! I get to kiss Keri Russell, and that ain't too bad.
To see how YouTube has become part of pop culture, it's been just amazing.
These days I travel so much it's hard to get into a routine. When I'm on the road, I tend to use hotel gyms. When I'm home in L.A., I like to hike and hit the surf. All in all, I try to keep a balanced diet and exercise routine, which has stood me in good stead to date.
I'm a big believer in a balance of workouts - a well-balanced workout plan. Part of it is cardio, part strength training and then flexibility. You really need all three.
You just get into a routine and you allow that routine to become consistent. So if your routine off the field becomes consistent, then your play on the field will become consistent.
It is really amazing what you can do with your body and learning that your body has skills and a purpose, as a woman you are always taught that your body is like in the way, too big or just not perfect.
Keeping well groomed is a big part of my routine.
I have a flexible body, thanks to the combination exercise routine I follow. But I'm fairly lazy when it comes to working out my legs and back.
I don't think there's any single finished point for a work. It's done when something's happening with the work that feels like a balanced, coherent disharmony. That's one way to say it. And where if I keep working on it, to discover and struggle with new problems, I'll obliterate the ones I was working on. I could keep working on it, but it'd become something different. And I value what's here, at the moment.
