George William "Bill" Domhoff is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus and research professor of psychology and sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a founding faculty member of UCSC's Cowell College. But there are not enough of them, and they are often worn down by the constant pressure from lobbyists, lawyers and conventional politicians.
