I think it's important to accentuate your features, and a lip liner does that. There's an instant change that makes you feel beautiful right away.
I love to accentuate my eyes, so I'll wear eyeshadow and mascara.
Black liner looks harsh on me because I'm so blond, so I do a brown liner with a black mascara. My favorite is 'L'Oreal Voluminous' on my top and bottom lashes. For a while, I only did mascara on the upper lashes, but it makes me look too pretty.
My only trick to having wing liner sharp enough to cut is be careful and take your time! I have hooded eyes, so I draw my wings more outwards as opposed to upwards so they accentuate my eye shape better.
Less is more when you do a bright, bold lip. Just draw on black liner and some mascara and you're good to go!
Honestly, I can't survive without my MAC gloss, pigment - sometimes MAC powder. But definitely my gloss and pigment and liner. I don't do mascara all the time. I do when I wear no lashes. I use the mascara, but when I wear lashes, I don't always do mascara, because it makes it real heavy sometimes.
Just like hair frames our face, brows frame our eyes. I see so much potential in harmonized beauty whenever I see a woman who's not filling in her brows, and I just want to go in with my brow pencil and just be like, 'Filling in eyebrows, OK, done - look in the mirror and be inspired.' That's one of my pet peeves, but beauty is subjective.
Mascara can definitely be one of the hardest parts of the beauty routine. Nothing is worse than when you are applying your mascara, and you've worked an hour on the most flawless blended eye shadow, and with one slip of the finger, your mascara is all over your face.
I always loved mascara and eyelash curlers to make your eyes look very open and wide and when I'm having a conversation with somebody that's always the first thing I'm attracted to, so I've been into mascara since I was little.
When I am in a relationship, I don’t wear lipstick at all. I hate the smearing, the retouching, the constant throb of phoniness as you surreptitiously check the damage in your compact between kisses. I wear lots of mascara to compensate, different colors so I don’t get bored. When I am about to break up with a guy, he has full warning because I start wearing lipstick again.
I use clear mascara on my brows to neaten them up.
When I'm doing my makeup, my favorite feature to enhance is the brows. They frame your face - good eyebrows are so important.
Black liner around the eye makes your eyes look smaller. I think you should reassess, if you're a really big black liner user, maybe even just doing the top line, not lower, or try a brown or a plum or even a navy.
I dye my eyelashes on occasion so I don't have to wear mascara. I find that mascara weighs on my eyes, making me sleepy, and it is a pain to take off.
Blue liner at the lash line is a great way to brighten the eyes. I also love using a flesh-toned eye pencil on the water line to neutralize any redness. Tipping the lashes with navy mascara is another great way to make the whites appear whiter.
You don't lose your sexuality just because you're not wearing mascara.
