A Quote by Anton Corbijn

Directing film is the hardest thing I have ever done. — © Anton Corbijn
Directing film is the hardest thing I have ever done.
I scored one film by myself, which was the hardest thing I think I've ever done.
The hardest thing for a film actor, especially if you are in a lot of the film, is sustaining energy for the entire length of a production. It's quite tough. With acting, it's not the same as directing. Directors work the exact same hours; directing is incredibly exhausting. The only difference is that directors aren't required to have bursts of energy and focus. They're probably focused the entire day. Actors have this thing of "stop/start." That can be quite draining, actually.
Fundamentally, whether directing in the theatre or a film, you have to be a good storyteller, regardless of the form. The thing I had to work hardest at was thinking in shots.
I'm a bigger fan of my directing than in acting. Acting is just harder. You know, not harder, per se, because directing is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But it's harder to enjoy my work as an actor, you know.
Wrestling was the hardest thing I've ever done.
Leaving Australia was the hardest thing I have ever done.
Not following her is the hardest thing I've ever done.
The ALL IN Challenge might be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.
This is the hardest thing I've ever done. The rehab has not gone as expected.
I think for me 'X Factor' was the hardest thing I've ever done.
Losing weight, even with the help of the operation I had, remains the hardest thing I have ever done - and the thing I am most proud of.
I have never even had a sip of alcohol, never have done drugs. The hardest thing I have ever done would be Pepsi.
Making movies is really hard. It's the hardest thing I've ever done.
When we were making 'Arrested Development,' it was the hardest thing I'd ever done. You know, nobody was watching. We weren't getting feedback. The job wasn't paying very well. But the one thing I did feel confident about was: No one will ever be able to do this again. Because no one would be stupid enough to try.
I've always worked really hard, and the hardest thing I've ever done is have kids!
Teaching was the hardest work I had ever done, and it remains the hardest work I have done to date.
