A Quote by Elsa Hosk

You're in a bathing suit pretty much all year round working for Victoria's Secret. There's so many shoots, and we're always in lingerie, so you kinda always have to be prepared and ready.
I grew up in San Diego, California, and I spent a lot of time in the summer basically living in a bathing suit, you know, get in the car and drive straight to the beach and spend the entire day in that thing, so I always approached bathing suits thinking that they are very much like outfits.
The president of Victoria's Secret promised me a lifetime supply of Victoria's Secret products, even after I decided to leave the company. But once I left, he only let me have it for a year. So I have a bone to pick.
When I first started working with Victoria's Secret, I wanted to get stronger. That was something I wanted to build on and really be as strong and powerful as I could be. Working with Victoria's Secret, I started really thinking about my body and my muscles.
The main thing is healthy eating, exercise, which I do for special events, like if it's Sports Illustrated, or the swim suit catalogue for Victoria's Secret, or my own calendar that I did for the year 2000.
Victoria's Secret have an instant bronzing gel; that's what they use on all our shoots.
I'm always prepared for five, six rounds. I train hard. Sometimes it's over quickly, but you have to be prepared for every round, always respecting your opponent.
I never had my own name on a bathing suit on Baywatch. I was always given one that said Pamela or Yasmine. I earned my own suit, at the end of the season, which I now have framed.
There's a thing when you're always working on something you really love, and this one we loved so much, it feels like you have a secret, and you can't wait to let people in on the secret. But at the same time, there's that moment where, "What if they get the secret and they think the secret is stupid?!"
I don't normally do shoots in bikinis - I'm just not that kind of girl. But for 'Maxim' I was like, 'Bring it on!' I wanted to wear the higher heels and the skimpier bathing suit. I figured I'd go for it!
In the summer I'm always walking around in a bathing suit and I never wear shoes.
We're not just somebody's girlfriend who smiles all the time and bakes cookies and always has lingerie ready and their hair done. That's not real. The roles that I play are about bringing as much reality into it as possible.
I wouldn't ever pose naked... I'm fine to do bikinis and certainly lingerie if I feel it's done tastefully... cute like Victoria's Secret, but nothing like raunchy or overly sexual.
In Brazil, we don't have Victoria's Secret, and my family are all Victoria's Secret fans, so I usually bring them back some lovely pieces.
When I was 13, I was in my tent at Girl Scout camp, trying to change out of my bathing suit and talking at the same time. I fell out of the tent in front of everyone with my bathing suit around my ankles. I was humiliated - but no amount of humiliation has ever seemed to stop me.
Training full-on year round is great, and I love to stay in shape and always being ready, but I feel sometimes I don't have a life.
I love Victoria's Secret and the brand, and I'm passionate about Victoria's Secret commercials, too.
