It doesn't matter if you are model or not; confidence is something that comes from inside.
If you have what you want to say inside, and if you are crying for something that is true inside, it doesn't matter. The camera always sees it.
Most of us function under the model we have to get something in order to do something, in order to be something. If this happens, then I will be happy. And I'm suggesting to you that we live our entire lives based on that model, and that model is fundamentally flawed.
What I tell founders is not to sweat the business model too much at first. The most important task at first is to build something people want. If you don't do that, it won't matter how clever your business model is.
If you are going through something with one of your parents, you know that there is this feeling inside you constantly that something is wrong. Even if you want to pretend that it doesn't matter to you or you don't care, the truth of the matter is that you do, because they are your parents and you love them.
For me, my goal is to be able to impact as many people as possible for something good, for something right; to be able to leave a legacy of something bigger than myself - not for winning games, not for scoring touchdowns, but that Jesus Christ has changed my life. You can love God, and you can love people. There's more to this world than money, fame, and power. You can have an impact, no matter who you are; no matter what platform. No matter how big or small of a role model, there's someone watching you. There's a life that you can change. There's a life that you can impact.
There are people who give you the confidence that you're lacking and once you have confidence, you're free and finally you can let out what's inside of you.
You can be a great model, an average one, or a bad model. You may think it doesn't matter to you, but it does to the Lord.
Footballers are the most vulnerable people. They exude confidence, but inside, they're so lacking in confidence. They know they can lose form or be injured. This profession is so insecure, you wouldn't believe it.
I think people are always like, 'She's a model-turned-actress.' And I don't want to turn actress. I want to do both. I wouldn't have built the confidence to do acting if I didn't model.
If you are physically ready to play, it's a matter of confidence. Your confidence goes down when you lose games, when shots are not going in.
Being a Victoria's Secret Angel has really built up my confidence. It's such an exciting thing to be able to do as a model. It's the best thing you can possibly do. It's such a special feeling that it's something so hard to actually describe.
Enthusiasm is my superpower. One might say that confidence yields the same result. I disagree. Confidence is about yourself, enthusiasm is about something else. Confidence is impressive, but enthusiasm is infectious. Confidence is serious, enthusiasm is fun.
To be a good model, I'd need a lot more confidence... and more confidence to be more bare.
Xavier has been the ultimate role model. No matter how far away we are geographically, working together is something we feed off of.
We don't have a business model for health care in this country, We just have a business model for care. The way doctors and hospitals get paid is something bad has got to happen. It's a pure reactive model.
I expect to beat everybody I play. It's kind of that quiet confidence that I have inside that I try to present to the opponent without getting too overboard. Because there are times when I seem composed, but inside I'm losing my mind.
