A Quote by Gigi Hadid

I'm from Malibu, California. Once I tell people, they're like, 'Oh, of course you're from Malibu; that makes sense.' I guess I am your typical just-graduated-high-school-in-Malibu type of girl. Our school was just across from Zuma beach, and we all wore Lululemons and bathing suit tops to go to the grocery store - no makeup, no shoes.
Coming back to Guess is so natural for me; they're my family. I always love being back, and to be able to come home and be in Malibu across the street from my high school shooting this campaign is absolutely amazing and just feels like the right thing.
Wherever I can go, I hit the water, whether it's the ocean, or in L.A. it's Zuma Beach in Malibu; I just hit the water.
I do miss Glasgow but Malibu is home now. I love it here and when I do go back to Scotland it takes me a bit of time to acclimatise. I am a spoilt so-and-so. I live in the mountains of Malibu in the most gorgeous house and I phone my mum every day and tell her that I have got bad news - that it is only 70 degrees here.
...every once in a while it seems like the cosmos part and something great plops into your lap, that's how it was with "Hotel California".. a leased beach house in Malibu ... all the doors wide open on a spectacular July day probably in 1975 ... soaking wet ... thinking the world is a wonderful place to be... with an acoustic 12 string ... those chords just oozed out.
I swim a lot, almost every day. I just go out to the beach by my place in Malibu and jump into the ocean.
I have to at least get a couple weekends in where I can just be on Santa Monica beach or Malibu and just ride the waves.
I think somebody like Wes [Anderson] has a very good sense of style and is original. I think my sense of style got a little bit better after I was exposed to you guys at Valentino. Because I'm just in Hawaii and Malibu; it's just kind of T-shirts and surfing-type stuff.
Move to California. Malibu is paradise.
I'm always in Malibu, and I'm a big fan of surfing and stuff. I love the beach. Someday I will live on the beach.
I love being in Malibu. It's so cool there, and the water is just, it's nice and, and I love the beach. And I found a sand dollar there.
When I'm, like, 30, I want to go off the map, have a family and live in Malibu with a farm, and just raise my own chickens.
I like a real beach. A crowded one, you know? People, towels, umbrellas. I hate those little private strips of sand you see up in Malibu.
I'm really nostalgic for Malibu area because I've spent so much time there. People don't think of California as having a history.
I would love to go to a restaurant on the beach. And that could be in Miami or that could be in Malibu or Bahamas, Mexico.
I took Kira to a nice dinner at a place called Moonshadows in Malibu, which is by the ocean, and I organized it so a school of young dolphins swam by our table. I took her for a long walk on the beach after dinner, and I told her all the things I love about her. Then I asked her to marry me.
I was a West Hollywood and Laurel Canyon girl for years, and it was so central that I felt like we'd moved to Portland when we came to Malibu, but now I can't imagine living anywhere else. We have the best of all worlds, hilltop living, 15 minutes from town, with the beach at the bottom of the road.
