A Quote by Gustave Flaubert

Success as I see it is a result, not a goal. — © Gustave Flaubert
Success as I see it is a result, not a goal.
I'm not really interested in making money. That's always come as the result of success, but it's not been my goal.
It is necessary to prepare and to plan so that we don’t fritter away our lives. Without a goal, there can be no real success. One of the best definitions of success I have ever heard goes something like this: success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal. Someone has said the trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never cross the goal line.
Success is not the result of making money; earning money is the result of success — and success is in direct proportion to our service.
I don't see success as the goal. Obedience is the goal.
Success is the result of clear goal, unshakable confidence, proper planning, enthusiastic ACTION and consistent persistence.
Money - like health, love, happiness, and all forms of success that you want to create for yourself - is the result of living purposefully. It is not a goal unto itself.
Now, success is not the result of making money; making money is the result of success - and success is in direct proportion to our service. Most people have this law backwards. They believe that you're successful if you earn a lot of money. The truth is that you can only earn money after you're successful.
Success is deciding from the start what end result you want and creating the circumstances to realize that result.
True success is one of the greatest needs. Success is not something you stumble onto or come to by accident. It is something you must sincerely prepare for. Take a good look at successes, and you'll see he same consistent qualities all the time - qualities of one's character that make one strive for a goal with a standard of unmatched excellence.
My success isn't a result of arrogance - it's a result of belief.
Happiness, wealth, and success are by-products of goal setting, they cannot be the goal themselves.
Money is a result, wealth is a result, health is a result, illness is a result, your weight is a result. We live in a world of cause and effect.
Material success may result in the accumulation of possessions: but only spiritual success will enable you to enjoy them.
You do the work and you want people to see it; but, um while I'm doing the work, the result doesn't matter at all to me. Ultimately, I don't, I don't care whether the film is - you know - some big giant box-office bonanza and I don't care if its a complete flop. To me, when a film gets made and it's actually finished it's a success. They're all a success in their own way.
Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the "someday I'll" philosophy.
One of the most important rules for success is this: Every great success is the result of hundreds and thousands of small efforts and accomplishments that no one sees or appreciates.
