I won't go to Hell for swearing because I repent too damn fast! — © J. Golden Kimball
I won't go to Hell for swearing because I repent too damn fast!
The indications are that swearing preceded the development of cursing. That is, expletives, maledictions, exclamations, and imprecations of the immediately explosive or vituperative kind preceded the speechmaking and later rituals involved in the deliberate apportioning of the fate of an enemy. Swearing of the former variety is from the lips only, but the latter is from the heart. Damn it! is not that same as Damn you!
Dear lost sinner, if you are a wicked sinner, yet you do not have to die and go to Hell forever. If you are a criminal or a harlot, a blasphemer, a drunkard, a convict, or a dope fiend, God does not want you to go to Hell. People do not go to Hell simply because they are sinners. Rather they go because they will not repent of their sins! If you today will confess your sins to God, and in your poor, helpless heart, will, as far as you know how, turn away from your sin, God will have mercy and will forgive and save.
Jesus did not call upon people to repent, or fast, or observe the sabbath. He did not threaten with hell or promise heaven.
I don't give a damn if I go to hell. I love you Satan. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Some ministers say, 'If you don't repent you'll die and go to a place the name of which I can't pronounce.' I can! You'll go to hell!
There is no such thing as too much swearing. Swearing is just a piece of linguistic mechanics. The words in-between are the clever ones.
To work hard, to live hard, to die hard, and then go to hell after all would be too damn hard.
The biggest problem of all is that it's very difficult to tell my daughter, 'Swearing is not clever or funny,' because I earn a living by swearing.
I don't give a damn if I go to hell.
Can we go too fast in saving souls? If anyone still wants a reply, let him ask the lost souls in Hell.
I don't give a damn what queers do, and don't give a damn what Christians do. Just get the hell out of my way because I want to live my life and I don't want the government sucking 60% of my wages off my ass.
Cold, hungry, scared as hell inside, but too damn brave to admit it.
If there is a God who will damn his children forever, I would rather go to hell than to go to heaven and keep the society of such an infamous tyrant.
The irreligious don't repent at all and the religious only repent of sins. But Christians repent of their wrongfully placed righteousness.
Everything goes by so fast that if you want to be a part of it, you need to go that fast. But because you go that fast, you don't lead the life you should lead.
At some point, if the UFC allows me, I'd like to go to 125 because I know I can win that belt, man. I'm too strong, and I'm too fast.
