A Quote by Karan Patel

I express myself the way I want. Sometimes, I know, I do put up posts that might be insensitive, but I am not someone who deletes a post. If my posts end up hurting people, I don't have any qualms apologising, and I have done that in the past.
I like to keep my posts relatable and don't just post fake things for publicity. I don't go putting out posts just to gain more followers.
Unfriend people who do not post to Facebook or engage with anyone else. You'll find your posts start getting reach they never did before. Why? Facebook only releases your posts to a few people at first and watches what they do with it.
When a guest blogger can't even be bothered sharing their own post on their social networks; they're pretty much admitting 'I don't care about this post, and I don't want to be associated with it'. In the end these guests posts are just another form of spam.
If the American people knew what we have done, they would string us up from the lamp posts.
Like most authors, I'm a raging egomaniac. I know that about myself. And I know that, if I had internet access, I would waste countless hours looking up things about myself, writing fake posts about how great I am and arguing with people who don't like my work. It saves me a lot of time and frustration to just stay out of the loop.
When you are in the line of your duty, it is like standing in front of a line of posts, and every post is in line. But step one step aside, and every post looks as though it were not quite in line. The farther you get away from that straight line, the more crooked the posts will appear. It is the straight and narrow path of duty that will lead you and me back to the presence of God.
Posts of honor are evermore posts of danger and of care.
When I post on Weibo, I try my best to post things that are aspirational and have a positive energy. I often think that maybe people who see my posts are still growing up and in a stage where they are choosing the kind of life they will have. If they see something good and that can influence them, this makes me think that Weibo can be a positive force for young people in China.
I might sound like a crazy person, but that's the way I pump myself up. You know how some people are just like 'I have to talk about it'? Sometimes I'll call my husband and we'll talk about it, sometimes I have to talk to myself in the mirror. So I start talking to myself: 'You got this. Don't think of this as Sports Illustrated, just think about this as the best swimsuit campaign you've done in your life. And just kill it and own it and don't put that pressure on yourself.'
I comment on my friends' things; whatever they post, I post funny posts. I don't post anything that's too sad or mad, or at least not for too long. And I'm usually just a happy person! Silly - people would describe me as silly and crazy and fun.
I have more than 4 million followers on Instagram. All the companies I work for want me to guarantee how much I'll post for them, but I'm not going to force my career onto the people who follow me. I refuse to do 40 Instagram posts about any campaign.
The thing is, I am addicted to social media. I can while away hours scrolling through posts and pictures, wallowing in the details of other people's lives, catching up on news, giggling at funny videos, all the while oblivious to a sunny afternoon or the washing up.
A lot of people have a lot of things going on in their life. You'll be walking past ten people in the middle of the day and not even notice, but someone might have a family member that died, or someone might be going through a hard time. Sometimes you're the only person that someone might see that lifts them up.
Whenever a woman describes herself as a 'post-feminist' I picture women lashed to posts. Joan of Arc was an early post-feminist.
You really have to have a goal. The goal posts might shift, but you should have a goal. Know what it is you want to find out.
I will end up with someone in the arts. I am positive. I eat, breathe and sleep acting. And I'll end up with someone who is happy staying at home and having me cook supper. But I also really need to be intellectually challenged and stimulated. I want someone bookish, and someone who is passionate.
