But when there were certain moments or scenes that required a very specific nuance or performance, I myself would act out the scene or the sequence and that would inspire the actors. There is an illumination the outsider brings to a place or a situation that cannot be duplicated.
I think as an action director; it comes kind of naturally to me to a certain extent, because I've done so much action myself - as my MRIs would suggest!
