Men need to be strong, but not bullies. They need to know how to not get emotionally lost in situations, but not be cold and emotionless. They need to know the full variety of emotions as well as thinking and acting. Not just the most limited ways of doing things.
Now more people are doing work that requires individual decision-making and problem-solving, and we need an educational system that will help develop those skills.
All children know when something is wrong and they can't understand something - they never need someone to tell them they're stupid. They need help in solving the problem.
We should remember that saying 'I love you' is only a beginning. We need to say it, we need to mean it, and most importantly we need consistently to show it. We need to both express and demonstrate love.
