I'm never out of shape, never out to hurt my body by drinking or partying. — © Mikey Garcia
I'm never out of shape, never out to hurt my body by drinking or partying.
There are guys, the weekenders, who can go out and get loaded and they're having fun and partying - which is a term I deplore, partying - and it's all recreational and they're having a ball. I never had that. It was never about recreation. Not. Ever. That was never my motivation. Not once!
Drinking and partying never appealed to me in lyrics - they don't have a lot of meaning behind them.
From a young age, I was never into going out and partying.
I was in college, it was my first year of college when I got the show, so I've been kinda' partying a lot and drinking a lot and I've never been stoned and when I got the show I got really serious... So I kinda stop drinking, cold turkey so I had never been stoned until... It's something that happened with Mila and Ashton.
It's easier to stay in shape if you never let yourself get out of shape in the first place.
Drinking is an emotional thing. It joggles you out of the standardism of everyday life, out of everything being the same. It yanks you out of your body and your mind and throws you against the wall. I have the feeling that drinking is a form of suicide where you're allowed to return to life and begin all over the next day. It's like killing yourself, and then you're reborn. I guess I've lived about ten or fifteen thousand lives now.
I wasn't out drinking and abusing my body. I simply loved to go out and dance.
Smoking Cigars is like falling in love. First, you are attracted by its shape; you stay for its flavor, and you must always remember never, never to let the flame go out!
I never did well meeting strangers, so my favorite part of partying as a couple was that I didn't need to strike up conversation from scratch. If you've ever had to go out and meet new people on your own, you would understand. It can be a bit of an awkward situation. If you're already out at a party with someone you know, it takes that pressure off.
I like it to fit my individual body shape, and I encourage other women to find what works for their body shape and not necessarily follow trends. But what is it that works for you as an individual, and what brings out the best in you, and what can you have fun with and feel really good about.
Sleeping hurt, everything hurt. But it's pretty cool what you can do to the body by working out.
Showing weakness will encourage your opponents. It inspires them. It encourages them to hit harder. To come faster. But when you don't show any fear, or when you don't show any hurt, you have the opportunity to discourage your opponent. You discourage your enemies. The bottom line is, if you think properly, you don't even have to think about all of that. All you have to think about is that guy across from me is human, and so am I. And he'll never out-work me. He'll never out-think me. And if you can't out-work me, and you can't out-think me, you'll never beat me.
A false religion out of the church will not hurt the church, any more than weeds in the wilderness hurt an enclosed garden, or poisons hurt the body when they are not taken, and antidotes are received against them.
I never want to hurt a player but being physical is different. Body to body.
Partying means drinking. It also means playing records by Lou Reed and Chicago, which I thought was a city but is also a band it turns out.
For me going out to party never meant drinking or taking drugs.
