Ideally, I would like to not be in the public eye. — © Molly Bloom
Ideally, I would like to not be in the public eye.
I think you have to embrace being a role model because you are in the public eye, and whether you like it or not, people are going to be affected by you positively or negatively, ... Public-wise, I really wouldnt do anything that would be detrimental to anybody else or to myself. And to a certain extent, I try to watch out and try not to do anything that would be bad for kids to see.
To me the biggest irony of this lifetime that I'm living is that for someone who thrives in the public eye in the creative ways that I do, I actually don't enjoy being in the public eye.
For Sabina, living in truth, lying neither to ourselves nor to others, was possible only away from the public: the moment someone keeps an eye on what we do, we involuntarily make allowances for that eye, and nothing we do is truthful. Having a public, keeping a public in mind, means living in lies.
Ideally, I'd like to write poetry for public performances and prose for a different, more contemplative kind of consumption.
It's really important for women in the public eye to be open - these pop stars who don't look, behave, speak like real women - that's not fair on women. Being real, honest, authentic - too many women in the public eye are afraid to be authentic because they are afraid they will be judged.
I have a belief that if I wear my placenta in a necklace, there’s a possibility of me gaining second sight - like being psychic. I would be wearing it whether or not I was in the public eye.
I wanted to get a taste of what it would feel like to be a mum. I've always had a strong maternal instinct and ideally I would love one of my own.
One of the nice things about moving from acting to writing is that your work can be in the public eye without having to be in the public eye yourself. I guess that's not completely true. If you're lucky - and I have been - there are book tours and lectures. I don't have stage fright, and I enjoy meeting people, so that's easy and enjoyable, but it's not a constant, and it's not celebrity.
If I had unlimited, god-like powers and could grant my prospectivecustomer the biggest benefit I can possibly imagine he or she would ideally want from myproduct, what would that be?
Ideally I would like the work to be a hybrid between painting and photography.
Visualize and think about yourself as you would ideally like to be, not just as you are.
Ideally, I'd like to be the eternal novice, for then only the surprises would be endless.
I don't feel like I'm really in the public eye because I feel like I'm one of the public.
Ideally, we'd want an Irishman coming in for the job, but, ideally it doesn't really matter.
After getting recognized in public from my picture on our pretzel bag, I can understand not wanting to be in the public eye. It has given me a public persona I had always avoided as a child. I do it because it's for a good cause.
Formerly, a public man needed a private secretary for a barrier between himself and the public. Nowadays he has a press secretary, to keep him properly in the public eye.
