Everybody's skin is different, so you need to find products that work for your skin type. I use a lot of facial oils, as mine can get very dry.
I do my best to use all-natural type of products. I find that Perricone has really nice face cream. I find they have good facial products. Whenever I have a pimple, their products clear them up and make my skin nice and clean. Also, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel-Cream.
I don't believe in lots of face creams; I think your skin should work for itself. Your natural oils look after your skin, so I just use a simple face wash.
I have really sensitive skin, so all I use is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream, and then during the day, I'll use CeraVe with SPF, but nothing crazy. My skin also gets really dry, so I do a mask from time to time - or if my skin is feeling dull, then I'll put one on.
I carry lots of oils, since I have the driest skin in all the land! I switch up my facial oils, and I make them myself with coconut oil and tea tree oil.
To keep the skin moist throughout my travels, and within a tight schedule, moisture care is necessary. And skin ageing originates from dry skin. So before I go to bed, I use my Laneige Perfect Renew Regenerator, and sometimes, I use Water Bank Essence, too.
I really believe that switching products is important, especially for skin. I'm switching from day to day. If I'm tired, if my skin is dry, if I have a pimple, if my hair has been overworked, I will do something different.
To avoid dry skin on my feet, I exfoliate them at least once a week with Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator which has been created to care for the unique characteristics of the skin on the foot.
When I started making enough money to afford high-end, fancy skincare products with sexy bottles and impressive claims, I decided to give them a try. As a result my skin acted up and got irritated. I think sometimes women may be overcleansing their skin. Some products and masks can be too aggressive and irritating for certain skin types. I believe the more simple, natural, and easy the skin care regime, the better off your skin will be.
As a kid I'd play with homemade recipes, like putting pineapple on my face to exfoliate my skin and doing facial steams with lavender or peppermint oils. I just loved doing stuff like that. It's what motivated me to launch my skin care line.
I am very disciplined with my skin - I tone and I moisturize my skin twice a day. I also exfoliate, and I try to get a facial, like, once every two months.
When it comes to my skin, I take it seriously. Being on camera and doing what I do, it's very important to start with a good base. So finding products that work really well with your skin are important.
When the subtle physical body is damaged you will begin to notice changes in your skin, you skin starts to get gnarly or dry. I'm not speaking of acne. Acne means you have a lot of kundalini, which stimulates hormones.
Makeup looks better if your skin is not dry. And sometimes, if my skin peels, then it's all just bad. Basically, take care of your skin to make your makeup look nice.
I am happy that my mom was strict about the products we used. We could only use natural oils, no face wash, no conditioner. So, my skin and my hair were protected from chemicals.
The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is wash my face with Olay Regenerist Thermal Mini-Peel Face Wash. My skin is super-dry, and this one is great for basically any skin type. As you cleanse your face, the face wash gets warmer, so it's soothing and also has some exfoliation to it.
I use products from my dermatologist but the best things you can do for your skin, are not smoke always use sunscreen and drink a lot of water.
