People still recall my show 'Philips Top 10' with Pankaj Kapoor. Those characters were lovable.
Some of my acting heroes have built careers on playing characters who do horrendous things - they're repellent and lovable. They're not likable, but they're lovable. I think Christine is one of those characters.

People have often asked me to do a remake of Awara' with Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. When I took the idea few steps forward, we all got scared. Where will we get another Prithviraj Kapoor and Raj Kappor? Where will I get composers like Shankar-Jaikishen?

The movie, if I recall, didn't have to do with the television show because there were concerns from everyone that they didn't want it to be like the TV show.
All the people in Star Trek will always be known as those characters. And what characters to have attached to your name in life! The show is such a phenomenon all over the world.
Love is how we feel toward those who show us that which is lovable about ourselves.
Being the underdog, for me, is not a problem. I kind of like it. But when you were on the top, and then you're not even in the top 10, this is horrible.
