I have a gigantic head, sometimes it throws me off balance.
I make a lot of throws off-balance and a lot of throws just using my arm.
Never slouch as doing so compresses the lungs, overcrowds other vital organs, rounds the back, and throws you off balance.
It's scary being loved. Because life is complicated and all too often it throws you off balance by sending you the right person at the wrong time.
Is instinct in the head or in the heart? Off the field, I follow my good instincts which steer me in the right direction. Sometimes on the field my head leads me astray. That's what I believe.
Not being secure affects us as humans. It throws us off our balance. It puts us in disarray.
In this life, we are in a constant search for inner peace. We long for it in all aspects of our lives, both personally and professionally. The truth is that we cannot have inner peace without balance. It seems that having too much or too little of anything completely throws off our balance, therefore limiting our inner peace.
I realized how truly hard it was, really, to see someone you love change right before your eyes. Not only is it scary, it throws your balance off as well.
I am not afraid to stop the puck with my head. I try to do it sometimes even in practice; not everyday but once in a while, I say to my teammates, shoot me in my head and I'll try to stop the puck. I am not afraid at all of the puck, so sometimes, if the shot comes at my head, it's an easier save to make with your head. Maybe the people think a different way, but for me, I do it with my head.
When life throws not-so-serious curveballs, sometimes you need to embrace it, and laugh it off with the support of your friends, and let's be honest, pancakes always make everything better.
I don't think you can shock an audience anymore. Me cutting my head off is a great illusion, but when you turn on CNN and there's a guy really getting his head cut off, it does dilute what I did.
Sometimes I wish God would give me a Holy Ghost machine gun. I'd blow your head off!
Sometimes... sometimes I think the Asylum is a head. We're inside a huge head that dreams us all into being. Perhaps it's your head, Batman. Arkham is a looking glass... and we are you.
Getting even throws everything out of balance.
I find myself having rehearsal chats, in my head, for conversations I need to have. Sometimes they are arguments, things I need to get off my chest, award acceptance speeches. Ultimately, it clears my mind, helps me focus my thoughts, and sometimes alleviates the need for the real conversation.
I do have a tendency to talk a lot at the poker table, which throws people off because they spend a lot of time trying to read me. But I talk a lot when I have a good hand and when I have a bad hand, too. Sometimes it annoys people so much they can't wait to get out of the tournament. And that can only be good for me.
When someone throws a power shot and you want to counter, you have to lean into it as you block it so that you can come right out with what you are throwing. If you roll away or lean back, it's going to knock you off balance, and you won't be able to counter the punch. Being able to do that comes from experience, and life is the same exact way.
