I don't talk about my friends behind their back. — © Tom Sturridge
I don't talk about my friends behind their back.
I don't have any friends and don't have any intention of making any. People will stab you in the back, mistreat you, talk about me behind your back, steal from you. And they're not really your friends. They're only there because you're a celebrity or because they want to get something from you.
Don't worry about those who talk behind your back, they're behind you for a reason.
I was always protective of Jayne. I never allowed people to talk about her behind her back because those same people would talk about me.
When you have friends in the industry, you're always expected to talk about work. Seldom do you talk about stuff outside work with friends in the industry. Therefore, I don't have many actor friends, but I find lot of brotherly warmth from a few.
What happens at the average church or synagogue or mosque is that I don't know many priests or ministers or rabbis who say to their congregation, 'go home and talk about the religion at the kitchen table with your kids...talk about God, talk about what this is all about.' They say in general, come back on the weekend, we'll talk to you about it.
If people talk about you behind your back, that would mean you are in front, so stay ahead.
If you're going to talk about me behind my back, at least check out my great ass.
Whenever I wanted to talk to anyone on the East Coast, it was way too late. Living three hours behind was one thing I complained about. The other thing, of course, was just that there were no seasons. I would complain about that too. Just tons of complaining, man, early on. I can't believe I'm still friends with the people I was friends with when I first started in LA.
On the second verse of 'Tears to Snow,' I talk about rappers and the way they view me now, rappers in the underground world who I might've know for a little bit, or they might've opened a show for me. A lot of them talk crap about me behind my back, and they'll smile in my face.
If you are afraid of changes Watch from a distance Whether or not I might do something If you're going to talk about me behind my back It is what it is.
Remember, if people talk about you behind your back, it only means you are two steps ahead of them.
You're only as sick as your secrets. Either it comes out their way or my way. I talk about myself behind my back. And I'm funny about it.
The things I talk about with childhood friends are inevitably different from the things I talk about with friends who are the same field as me.
It's weird to be called a celebrity or talk about it. I don't talk about being a celebrity in my business meetings. I don't talk about it with my friends. It's not a part of my life. It's a media perception of who I am.
Part of my gestalt is that I still feel a little bit like a wallflower. Even in my own life. I talk about myself behind my back.
Friends can be incredible sometimes, but have you ever had a friend that can be really annoying or really mean to you? Friends shouldn't stab you in the back. Have you ever wondered if your friend has ever said stuff about you to their other friends? It gets pretty intimidating sometimes to think about that. What I'm saying is to find your friends that are real. Don't keep the ones that are fake and are just friends with you for what you have. Be strong. Don't take no for an answer. Never back down. Stand up for what you believe in. Friends are great to have, but just be cautious. (.
